Music is a strong bond for this pair of 26 years. Mae Rukavina and Eric (Spike) Stich conceived the Maeflies band in their home music studio in 2001. Now, The Maeflies, Minnesota’s alt-country-rock ensemble of 5, have been performing their trademark sound for over 13 years. They deliver rich signature harmonies, hot guitars and songs that tell a story. The Maeflies know their way around any iteration of guitar, including pedal steel, mandolin and banjo.

Mae & Spike share the show with Lisa Keith Bernard and Spencer Bernard: an amazing duo.

Spencer and Lisa Bernard have been married 25 years and their musical partnership goes back even further. Lisa scored a top ten hit in 1993 with “Better Than You” which she co-wrote and Spencer produced. Lisa also has recorded background vocals with many major artists, and Spencer has done production work for Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Recently, Spencer has written a batch of jazzy Gospel songs that provide a perfect showcase for Lisa’s voice. He writes ‘em, she sings ‘em. They also love performing creative versions of favorite classics. Lisa and Spencer create kid’s music and original jazz. In 1993, Lisa released an album called “Walking in the Sun” which featured the top ten hit “Better Than You”.
